In the late summer of 2021, the life of 27-year-old Mary Elizabeth Roos, a white female from Louisville, Kentucky, was tragically cut short. On September 3, 2021, her body was discovered in a trash can in an alley off Cecil Avenue in the Chickasaw neighborhood of Louisville. The Jefferson County Coroner's Office later determined that she had died from a gunshot wound, and her death was officially ruled a homicide.
