Eubah Thornton, a 70-year-old woman from Winter Haven, Florida, disappeared on February 14, 1984. She was last seen driving her tan 1981 Pontiac LeMans after dropping off her husband at work. When she failed to return to pick him up later that afternoon, her husband contacted the authorities. The next day, her car was found abandoned, stuck in the mud in a remote pasture near the Polk-Osceola county line, about 25 miles from her home.
