In the cold of late February 2023, the life of Jennifer S. McDermott, a 40-year-old Caucasian woman, was tragically cut short in Louisville, Kentucky. Known to her loved ones as a kind and loving soul, Jennifer had faced hardships that led to her experiencing homelessness. She had moved to Louisville with aspirations of becoming a chef, having attended Sullivan University to pursue her dream.
