On March 27, 2023, 26-year-old Jalea Marie Loeffelman-Hunter was tragically shot and killed in St. Louis, Missouri. The incident occurred just before 9 a.m. in an alley behind the 3000 block of Iowa Avenue in the Benton Park West neighborhood.
