In the early morning hours of March 18, 2020, a tragedy unfolded within a residence in Northwoods, a municipality in St. Louis County, Missouri. Around 2:30 a.m., police officers were dispatched to the home following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered 12-year-old Nakyah Durham suffering from a gunshot wound.
