On April 30, 2023, 21-year-old LaTonya Brown was found deceased in her apartment in the 5300 block of Gladstone Place, St. Louis, Missouri. Responding to a 9 a.m. welfare check, police discovered both Brown and her boyfriend, 23-year-old Justin Taylor, dead from gunshot wounds. Investigators believe Taylor fatally shot Brown before taking his own life in an apparent murder-suicide.
