In the early morning hours of October 17, 2021, the Baden neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri, became the scene of a deadly shooting that claimed the life of Isis Mahr, a 19-year-old African American woman. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. near the 8600 block of Goodfellow Boulevard. Mahr was seated in the front passenger seat of a vehicle that had stopped at a red light.
