In the summer of 2023, the life of 44-year-old Rosalyn Anderson was tragically cut short in a burst of violence in St. Louis, Missouri. On the evening of June 24th, shots rang out in the 4400 block of Kennerly Avenue in The Ville neighborhood. Anderson sustained gunshot wounds and was privately transported to a local hospital for medical attention.
Despite the efforts to save her, she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead.
The investigation into the shooting quickly pointed to a suspect. Authorities identified 29-year-old Santhosia L. Ingram as the individual allegedly responsible for Anderson's death. It is believed that the motive behind the fatal shooting may have stemmed from a personal dispute, with some reports suggesting a possible 'love triangle' as a contributing factor. Following the incident, Ingram was not immediately apprehended, and law enforcement began a search for her.
In early August 2023, the search for Santhosia L. Ingram came to an end when U.S. Marshals located and arrested her in Cahokia, Illinois. She was subsequently extradited back to St. Louis to face legal proceedings. Ingram has been charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action in connection with the death of Rosalyn Anderson. The case is now moving through the legal system as the community awaits justice for a life taken too soon.
