In the spring of 2018, the life of Sherry Bean, a 45-year-old Black/African American woman from Saint-Louis, Missouri, was tragically cut short. On May 6th, she was discovered in her car near Fairground Park, the victim of a fatal gunshot wound to the head. The devastating discovery was made by her two young granddaughters who had arrived at the park with their mother, Ciara Bean, to meet with Sherry.
