Maria V. Clepper Nash, a 19-year-old African American woman from Akron, OH, tragically lost her life on April 18, 2013. She was shot and killed while visiting with three friends inside a townhouse in the Chapel Hill area of Akron. The incident occurred when Maria and her friends were inside the Kimlyn Circle townhouse, and all four individuals were shot in the head. Unfortunately, Maria did not survive the attack.
