Jalisa A. Buchanan, a 29-year-old resident of Akron, Ohio, tragically passed away on December 15, 2023, due to an accidental shooting incident. According to reports, the incident occurred while she was in a vehicle. An acquaintance was handling a loaded handgun in the backseat when it discharged, striking Buchanan, who was seated in the driver's seat. She was immediately transported to a local hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
