On August 19, 2005, Tammy Avery, a 28-year-old woman from Akron, Ohio, was found dead in her home at 793 Boulevard Street. Tammy had been shot, and her body was discovered around 9:30 a.m. that day. The circumstances of her death suggested a violent crime, but despite the investigation carried out by the Akron Police Department, her case remains unsolved. Authorities have not publicly identified any suspects or motives in the case, which is classified as a homicide.
