In the early evening hours of a Tuesday in Hammond, Indiana, a discovery was made that brought a violent end to the life of 50-year-old Clifford Holmes. A resident of Chicago's West Pullman neighborhood, the man was found inside an apartment in the 6900 block of Hohman Avenue on December 22, 2020. First responders were called to the scene at approximately 6 p.m., where they found Holmes with a gunshot wound to his leg. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at the apartment.
