On March 13, 2014, the life of 26-year-old Asian male Yueh-Ju Wu came to a violent end following a chaotic home invasion in Hammond, Indiana. Residing in a green house on Magoun Avenue, Wu lived with his pregnant fiancée, Tayanda Davis, and another housemate. Known to sell marijuana from his residence, Wu kept approximately $5,000 in cash in the home, a fact that likely made him a target for robbery.
