A 45-year-old woman, Karolyn Williams, tragically lost her life in a shooting on the afternoon of Sunday, September 20, 2020, in the St. Louis Place neighborhood. The incident occurred around 3:15 p.m. in the 3000 block of North 25th Street.
Responding to a call, officers from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department discovered Williams at the scene with a gunshot wound to her stomach. She was immediately rushed to a local hospital in critical condition but succumbed to her injuries.
