In the quiet neighborhood of Tanners Creek in Norfolk, Virginia, the evening of June 8, 2024, was shattered by the sound of gunfire. When police officers arrived at the intersection of Bonnot Drive and Falkland Drive around 9:35 p.m., they found a young man suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was identified as 22-year-old Robert L. Nixon V, a resident of Norfolk.
