On a cold January morning in Norfolk, Virginia, a violent encounter on Interstate 64 tragically cut short the life of 40-year-old Wykemma Baker, a Black male. On Friday, January 3, 2020, Baker was the front-seat passenger in a vehicle traveling on the interstate when gunfire suddenly erupted. Struck in the head, he was rushed to a local hospital for treatment of his critical injuries.
