In the early evening of September 12, 2021, Travis L. Davis, a 43-year-old Black male, was fatally shot in Norfolk, Virginia. The incident occurred in a residential area, in the 1400 block of Norcova Avenue. Norfolk Police received a call about a gunshot victim at approximately 6:55 PM. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Davis suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
