In the late hours of a Sunday evening in Norfolk, Virginia, the life of 52-year-old James O. Giles Jr., a Black male from Chesapeake, was tragically cut short. On December 8, 2024, at approximately 10:35 p.m., police responded to a report of a shooting in a residential area in the 1500 block of Cary Avenue.
