In the late hours of an April evening in Norfolk, Virginia, the life of 34-year-old Zuton T. Carpenter, a male resident of the city, was tragically cut short. On April 20, 2017, shortly before 10:45 p.m., police responded to a call of a gunshot disturbance in the 800 block of Bagnall Road. Upon arrival, emergency crews discovered Carpenter suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
