Malcolm W. Moore, 26, a Black male, was found with life-threatening gunshot wounds shortly after 1 a.m. on October 29, 2025, in the 1400 block of East Tanners Creek Road in Norfolk’s Tanners Creek neighborhood, not far from Rosemont Middle School. Officers and medics rushed him to a hospital, where he died from his injuries. Authorities identified him as a resident of Virginia Beach and confirmed the shooting location in Norfolk.
