Chris Dixon, a 58-year-old male from Killeen, was shot inside a home on Elyse Drive on the afternoon of October 25, 2025. Police were dispatched at approximately 3:59 p.m. and found him unresponsive with a gunshot wound; he was pronounced dead by a justice of the peace at 5:40 p.m. An entry on a national memorial site later recorded his death as a Killeen gun homicide on that date.
