In the early morning hours of February 3, 2023, violence shattered the quiet of a Capitol Heights neighborhood. Inside a home on Balboa Avenue, 21-year-old Neeko Dukes, a male resident of the area, was with at least one other person when the situation turned deadly. At approximately 2:15 a.m., police received a call reporting a shooting at the residence. When officers from the Prince George's County Police Department arrived, they discovered a grim scene.
