In the early evening of August 7, 2022, a dispute in a parking lot in the unincorporated section of Capitol Heights, Maryland, turned fatal, claiming the life of 22-year-old Robert Earl Price of Washington, D.C. The young man was discovered by Prince George's County police officers around 6:30 p.m. in the 4100 block of Southern Avenue, suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite the efforts of first responders, Mr. Price was pronounced dead at the scene.
