In the spring of 1992, the life of a young law enforcement officer was tragically cut short in Capitol Heights, Maryland. Ryan Christopher Johnson Sr., a 25-year-old male, served as a patrolman with the Prince George's County Police Department for two years. On the evening of April 16, 1992, while off-duty, Johnson was standing by his car in the 1000 block of Brooke Road after visiting a friend.
