In the early evening of Saturday, February 4, 2023, the life of 25-year-old Darnell Peoples was tragically cut short. At approximately 7:17 p.m., in the 3600 block of 22nd Street in Southeast Washington, D.C., Mr. Peoples was shot and killed. The Metropolitan Police Department is actively investigating the homicide and has reached out to the public for any information that might lead to the apprehension of those responsible for his death.
