In the early morning hours of Saturday, October 14, 2005, a burst of gunfire shattered the predawn stillness at the intersection of 18th and Savannah Streets in Southeast Washington, D.C. When police arrived at the scene around 1:30 a.m., they discovered the bodies of two men, William Souder and his acquaintance, William Cureton, who was also known as 'Snoop.'
