On August 22, 2007, at approximately 11:45 p.m., 19-year-old Timothy Chapman was shot and killed in the 1000 block of 14th Street SE, Washington, D.C. Officers from the Metropolitan Police Department responded to reports of gunfire and found Chapman suffering from gunshot wounds.
