In the early hours of Tuesday, April 2, 2024, the life of 19-year-old Marquis Ward was tragically cut short in a fatal shooting in Northwest Washington, D.C. The incident occurred at approximately 1:20 a.m. in the 2100 block of 9th Street, Northwest, near Howard University's Plaza Towers. Marquis Ward was a Black male.
