In the spring of 2018, the life of 17-year-old Domoni Gaither, a male resident of Washington, D.C., was tragically cut short. On the afternoon of Wednesday, May 9th, at approximately 3:06 p.m., gunfire erupted in the 300 block of Anacostia Road, SE. When the violence ceased, Gaither lay fatally wounded on a sidewalk in front of an apartment complex. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene.
