On May 12, 2016, Sheldon Kevin Robinson, aged 28, was shot and killed in the 3700 block of Ely Place, SE, Washington, D.C. The incident took place around 3:18 pm in the middle of the afternoon, prompting a rapid response from emergency services. Despite their efforts, Robinson succumbed to his injuries on the scene.
