In the early morning hours of Friday, October 14, 2005, a burst of violence shattered the predawn stillness at the intersection of 18th and Savannah Streets in Southeast Washington, D.C. When the sounds of gunfire faded, two men lay dead, their lives abruptly ended. One of these men was William Cureton, a male known to his friends and family by the nickname 'Snoop.'
