On August 15, 2009, Ryan Collins, a 26-year-old male, was fatally shot in the rear alley of the 5300 block of First Street, NW, Washington, D.C. The incident occurred at approximately 10:39 PM, and Collins was pronounced dead at the scene. The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) responded to the incident, and the case has remained under investigation by the department’s Homicide Branch.
