### Death of Harry Keels

**Identification and Discovery**
On January 3, 2024, the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) in Washington, D.C. received a call regarding human remains found in a trash can at a Southwest apartment complex. The officers responded to the 1400 block of Canal Street, Southwest, and discovered the body of a deceased adult male inside the trash can.
