In the late morning hours of a late November day in Washington, D.C., the life of 28-year-old Michael Cunningham was tragically cut short. On November 29, 2019, at approximately 10:51 a.m., gunfire erupted in the 3000 block of 30th Street, Southeast, drawing the attention of Seventh District police officers who were in the vicinity. Upon their arrival at the scene, they discovered a grim tableau: Cunningham and a woman were both suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. ...
