On July 26, 2019, 37-year-old Francis Lee Savoy was found dead in Washington, DC. The incident occurred around midnight in the 300 block of 50th Street, Northeast. Officers from the Sixth District responded to reports of gunshots and discovered Savoy inside a vehicle, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services arrived at the scene and pronounced Savoy dead. His body was later transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
