Darrell Plowden, a 25-year-old resident of Philadelphia, was murdered in the early hours of August 1, 2016. Police responded to a call at 4:58 a.m. on the 500 block of Godfrey Avenue. When they arrived, they found Plowden with a fatal gunshot wound to the back of his head. Medical personnel arrived and pronounced him dead at the scene by 5:06 a.m.
