In the final hours of a late September evening in Washington, D.C., a dispute escalated into a tragedy that would claim the life of a young man. On September 28, 2015, in the Barry Farm neighborhood, 21-year-old Ernest Massenberg-Bey Jr., a Black male, found himself in the midst of a heated argument. The disagreement, reportedly over a dice game, took a fatal turn.
