In the fall of 2021, a dispute over a missing vehicle in Northeast Washington, D.C. tragically ended the life of 47-year-old Jamalijnanya Butler. On the morning of November 15th, Butler discovered his Honda was gone from his home. Believing it to have been stolen, he and his wife, Dominique, used her Jeep to search for the missing car after dropping their two-year-old daughter at daycare.
