Martinez Johnson, a 31-year-old resident of Northeast Washington, D.C., was found suffering from gunshot wounds on the morning of June 5, 2022. The incident occurred in the Carver/Langston area, specifically in the 1600 block of Maryland Avenue, Northeast. Officers from the Fifth District of the Metropolitan Police Department responded to the scene around 9:03 a.m. after receiving reports of a shooting.
