In the early hours of a cold Saturday morning in Washington, D.C., the life of a promising local rapper was cut short. Donelle Hodges, a 24-year-old male, was discovered inside a vehicle in the 3800 block of Minnesota Avenue, Northeast, on February 1, 2020. He was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The initial call reporting the shooting came in at approximately 2:39 a.m., and upon their arrival, officers from the Sixth District found a grim scene.
