In the early hours of a Saturday morning in the nation's capital, the life of Robert Ray Hobson, a 31-year-old male, was tragically cut short. On November 9, 2019, at approximately 12:37 a.m., the sound of gunshots pierced the night in the 200 block of L Street, Southwest. Officers from the Metropolitan Police Department who were in the vicinity heard the gunfire and immediately began to search the area.
