On June 18, 2021, at approximately 9:13 PM, Everette Faison, aged 42, was shot and killed in the unit block of Galveston Place, Southwest, Washington, DC. Responding officers from the Seventh District found Faison suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of DC Fire and EMS, Faison succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
