On May 19, 2020, Terrance Griffin, aged 31, was tragically shot and killed in Southeast Washington, D.C. The incident occurred around 1:42 p.m. in the 2400 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, Southeast. Upon arrival, police discovered Griffin and another male victim, 20-year-old Jaszel Henderson, both suffering from gunshot wounds. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene. A young woman was also found injured and was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
