On April 9, 2020, at approximately 5:11 PM, 19-year-old Taejuan King was shot and killed in the 1200 block of 44th Place, SE, Washington, DC. Emergency medical services responded to the scene and transported King to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead after life-saving efforts failed. King was a resident of Suitland, Maryland.
