Death by Force

On October 30, 2021, at approximately 7:42 pm, 28-year-old Cecil Morris was shot and killed in the 1800 block of Gainesville Street, SE, Washington, DC. When officers from the Metropolitan Police Department arrived at the scene, they found Morris suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a nearby hospital by D.C. Fire and Emergency Medical Services but succumbed to his injuries two days later on November 1, 2021.
