Leah Michelle Posey, a 19-year-old woman from San Diego, California, tragically lost her life in a shooting incident on February 8, 2020. The incident occurred just after midnight at Southcrest Community Park. Leah was accompanied by a 16-year-old boy, Adan Duque, who also sustained gunshot wounds but survived after undergoing surgery. The police were alerted to the scene by a 911 call reporting the shooting near the Southwest Recreation Center on Newton Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found both ...
