Joyce Ann Swindle, aged 19, tragically lost her life on February 5, 1964, in Ocean Beach, San Diego, California. Joyce and her husband, Johnny Ray Swindle, were newlyweds on their honeymoon when they were brutally murdered. The couple was walking along a cement path at the foot of Narragansett Avenue when a sniper, positioned on a bluff approximately 50 feet away, opened fire.
