Mary Ann Wells, a 31-year-old woman from San Diego, California, was tragically murdered on September 25, 1988. Her body was discovered in a downtown alley, fully clothed and with no personal belongings stolen. Wells was a sex worker who operated on El Cajon Boulevard, a known area for such activities.
