Monique Clark, a 35-year-old mother of three, tragically lost her life on April 30, 2017, in a mass shooting at the La Jolla Crossroads Apartments pool in San Diego, California. The incident occurred during a tenant's 50th birthday party, where Peter Selis, a 49-year-old auto mechanic, opened fire on the attendees.
